are intensives worth the time and money"?

EMDR Intensives give you the results you would get from months of therapy in a much shorter period of time. If you add up the cost of weekly therapy, an EMDR Intensive is actually more cost effective. Instead of waiting months, you can get the same results in a few days.

Will insurance cover it?

Some insurance plans will reimburse a portion of the cost of an EMDR Intensive. Please know that the insurance company requires a diagnosis code as a reason for treatment. I recommend calling the customer service number on the back of your insurance card in order to get details about your specific plan. I can provide a superbill for insurance reimbursements upon request.

is this therapy for trauma only?

No! EMDR is very effective for other concerns outside of trauma. It can be used for performance enhancing to excel in areas such as athletics, business and relationships. It can help with negative thought patterns, self doubt, confidence issues, and so much more. I work with many clients currently through EMDR that are addressing self esteem or negative thinking and have found great success!
